Your Home away from Home.

Charalambos Holiday Cottage (Self catering apartments) is managed by Charalambos family and is located in the center of Kalavasos village in a secluded location.

The house, originally constructed in around 1890, is stone built with renovation works completed in 2011 in order that the house maintains its original character.

The main building is surrounded by a spacious and private front yard, lawn with a flower variety and the only private swimming pool in the village with sun beds.

The house is made up of 4 independent and luxurious self catering apartments each with en suite bathroom (toiletries), power shower, kitchen with all utensils, fridge, gas stove, air condition and LCD TV with satellite channels.

Each room is traditionally decorated and contain a custom made iron bed and sitting area.

Prices are per room and bed only.

Guests are welcomed with a complementary fruit basket made up of seasonal fruits grown in our fields, wine and local fruit sweets made by the family.

The house history.

The house was built by Charalambos grandfather around 1890 and was later past to his son Vasilis Adamou who in 1965 has immigrated to the United States with all his family, except Charalambos, selling the house to his brother Pavlos who had previously immigrated to Australia with family. The house was since not inhabited.

The renovation lasted 2 years and the whole process was under the auspices of the Traditional housing authority and Cyprus tourism organization.

Charalambos son Andreas, a US/UK educated professional, decided 6 years ago to bring the old house back to life and bought it back from his Australian cousins.

Andreas vision is that his children, who love their grandparents village, to maintain their roots and the family traditions.

Charalambos has 20 years of experience in the hotel industry working as a receptionist at Roussos Beach Hotel in Limassol. Some may remember him by his nickname, “Bambos”.
